So here is the igloo tom made after our first big snowfall. Poor Tom was hoping to spend an hour outside with the boys and then...3 hours later...we have this! It was a bigger project than he had anticipated. After this snowstorm we got more and more snow...as did most people accross the country. Right now the snow would be past tom's knees at least. The igloo looks more like a huge mound of shoveled up snow, which most people have next to their driveways. The boys have loved the snow. They play outside for hours! It was fun for the month of January...now I'm ready for it to all go away. I'm sick of the slush and ice that comes a few days after the beautiful white stuff falls!

What a fun dad! I agree with you, though. I'm ready for the cold and snow to go away now.
How fun!! Anything that keeps them occupied and out of trouble for a few hours is a great thing! My boys are so excited about moving to NY and finally getting to play in the snow. After almost 5 years in AZ, I kind of miss it.
Hey - where did you find the new, cute background for your blog?
Ok, that thing is huge. It is alot bigger and cooler then the igloo I made with my boys. Way to go Tom.
Tom is sure a pro at those. I remember the one he and the guys built back at Wyview oh so long ago! What fun for your boys!
