before and after

i always cut my hair after i have a baby. not right away or anything, but soon after. paige is grabbing it, i find my long hairs everywhere! i'm totally shedding! basically, i needed a cleanse! So here you have it...

We got a gift certificate from our staff last year for a flight around Coeur d'alene. I went parasailing and so I opted to let the boys go instead of me (kids are 1/2 price). They had a blast!Do we live in the best place on earth or what? So beautiful! Here's my little 5-month old beauty! Love this girl!

Firsts

First day of school! Bittersweet for me. Here we go again...schedules, pracitces, getting up early, homework, reading....
but then I get almost 7 hours/day with just my girlies...the house stays WAY cleaner, i can get on an exercise schedule, cook dinners again, and just feel not so overwhelmed. Like I said, bittersweet. Did I mention I really love my boys and are sad they are gone all the time, well, not really sad but just sad for like a minute and then I'm over it. (I had a really cute outfit for Braden, a cute shirt and this really cute jacket-ish shirt over it. Well, he boycotted and put on his favorite BYU shirt with a t-shirt under. Oh well. At least he wore jeans instead of his old grubby sweats!

As for Paige, she is now sitting up SO well! As crazy as it sounds, she is also getting kindof close to crawling! She's only 5 months, but she rolls onto her tummy, scoots those little fat legs under her and moves all over! I mean, she doesn't really get to where she wants to go quite yet, but she's a mover! I didn't put her on her tummy till a few weeks ago (I know she needed tummy time but she's a major spitter upper so it would make me crazy to do it!) and once I did, she started rolling over right away and now she's movin all over! She is SUCH a great little baby. We just eat her up!

So for my birthday, my friends picked me up, blindfolded me, and brought me here...

Do I have great friends or what? Happy 32nd birthday ME!There was one glitch...when we got there the day of my birthday, the winds were too high and they canceled. We actually rescheduled for the next week and came down and did it then. It was fun, beautiful, and totally peaceful up there!
